All potential water leak locations are sealed in production using high quality durable sealers.

If you reseal specific areas of the body front end, use a high quality sealer with the following properties:

Lubricate the following components using Lubriplate, GM P/N 1052196 (Canadian P/N 5264008) or the equivalent:

Anti-corrosion materials have been applied to the surfaces of the metal panels in order to provide rust resistance. When servicing these panels, properly re-coat the areas on this material that have been disturbed using a service-type anti-corrosion material. Refer to Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair in Paint/Coatings.
