Rear Side Access Door Trim Panel Replacement Coupe

1. Remove the blackout garnish molding by pulling on the molding to disengage the trim clips.
2. Remove the upper garnish molding from the side access door. Refer to Rear Access Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .



3. Insert a small tool in the hole located on the back side of the door trim pull handle.
4. Push on the tool to remove the fastener cover from the door trim handle.
5. Remove the pull handle screws.
6. Remove the door trim pull handle.
7. Pull on the door trim to disengage the fasteners.
8. Remove the side access door trim.

1. Position the side access door trim. Push on the trim to engage the fasteners.



2. Install the pull handle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the pull handle screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (23 lb in).

4. Position the fastener cover to the door trim handle. Push on the cover to install.
5. Install the upper garnish molding to the side access door. Refer to Rear Access Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .



6. Position the blackout garnish molding. Push on the molding to install.
7. Replace the weatherstrip over the door trim edge.
