Removal Procedure
  1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

    2. Object Number: 877784 Size: SH
  2. Remove the I/P compartment latch access panel.

    3. Object Number: 877785 Size: SH
  3. Remove the I/P compartment latch screws and latch.

    4. Object Number: 877789 Size: SH
  4. Remove the I/P compartment latch rod.

    5. Object Number: 877791 Size: SH
  5. Slide the I/P compartment handle retaining clip to the right to remove.
  6. Remove the I/P compartment handle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 877791 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P compartment handle.
  2. Slide the I/P compartment handle retaining clip to the left to lock the handle in place.

    3. Object Number: 877789 Size: SH
  3. Install the I/P compartment latch rod.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 877785 Size: SH
  4. Install the I/P compartment latch and screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the I/P compartment latch screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).


    Object Number: 877784 Size: SH
  5. Install the I/P compartment latch access panel.
  6. Close the I/P compartment.
