CHG. OIL

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives a class 2 message from the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) indicating that the engine oil should be changed.

CHK GAGE

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives a class 2 message from the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) indicating that the engine coolant temperature is over 123°C (253°F).

COOLANT

CRUISE

Engine RPM Indicator

ERROR

LOW FUEL

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives a class 2 message from the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) indicating the fuel level percent. The IPC displays the LOW FUEL message when the fuel level is at or below 10 percent.

LOW TRAC

Low Traction: Refer to ABS Description and Operation

OIL LIFE

When this message is displayed, the oil life monitor in the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) can be reset by holding the trip reset button for a few seconds.

PWR STR

Power Steering: Refer to Power Steering System Description and Operation

RESET

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the RESET message after the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) has received an oil life monitor reset request.

SERVICE VEHICLE

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the SERVICE VEHICLE message when it receives a request from any module because of a detected problem.
