Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 861204 Size: SH
  1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Important: If the sunroof window is partially closed, remove the actuator first before moving the sunroof window forward.

  2. Disconnect the motor/actuator harness from the sunroof module.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sunroof motor/actuator.

    4. Object Number: 1547332 Size: SH
  4. Remove the sunroof motor/actuator bolts (2) from the sunroof module.
  5. Remove the sunroof actuator (1) from the sunroof module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1547332 Size: SH
  1. Synchronize the sunroof motor/actuator. Refer to Sunroof Motor Synchronization .
  2. Install the sunroof motor/actuator to the sunroof (1) module.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the sunroof motor/actuator bolts (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (50 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the sunroof motor/actuator.
  5. Secure the electrical harness to the sunroof module.
  6. Verify the sunroof operation.
  7. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
