Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 876790  Size: SH
  3. Remove the antenna mast from the antenna base by turning counterclockwise.
  4. Disconnect the antenna lead-in from the antenna base.
  5. Remove the antenna base screws from the bracket on the antenna base.
  6. Remove the antenna base.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 876790  Size: SH
  1. Connect the antenna lead-in to the antenna base.
  2. Install the antenna base.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the screws to the bracket on the antenna base.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the antenna mast to the antenna base by turning clockwise.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the mast to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the front fender. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
