Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2006 🢒 ION 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Shift Lock Control 🢒 Shift Lock Control Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the shift control assembly. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement .
  2. Remove the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
  3. Remove the shift solenoid retaining screw.
  4. Disconnect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers from the shift control assembly.

    5. Object Number: 886304 Size: SH
  5. Remove the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 886304 Size: SH
  1. Install the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.
  2. Connect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers to the shift control assembly.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the shift solenoid retaining screw.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
  5. Install the shift control assembly. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement .
