Removal Procedure

  1. On the coupe, remove the upper garnish molding on the lock pillar. Refer to Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 876784  Size: SH
  5. Lower the rear folding seat back:
  6. 4.1. Open the trunk.
    4.2. Pull the latch release handle.

  7. Remove the push-in retainer.
  8. Disengage the clips by pulling at the clip locations.
  9. Slide the lock pillar trim out from underneath the seat belt webbing.
  10. Remove the lower garnish molding at the lock pillar from the vehicle.
  11. Remove the rerouter from the child shoulder belt guide. Refer to Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt in Seat Belts.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 888383  Size: SH
  1. Install the rerouter to the child shoulder belt guide. Refer to Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt in Seat Belts.
  2. Position the lower garnish molding at the lock pillar, under the seat belt webbing.
  3. Install the trim clips by pushing at the clip locations.
  4. Install the push-in retainer.
  5. Install the door opening seal over the edge of the trim.
  6. Lift the rear folding seat back and latch into place. Pull up on the seat back to ensure that the latch is engaged.
  7. Install the rear carpet retainer. Refer to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  9. Inspect the rear seat belt for proper operation.
  10. On the coupe, install the upper garnish molding on the lock pillar. Refer to Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
