The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

All radios and instrument clusters that are on a parts restrictions will be handled through the Electronic Service Centers (ESC's). It will be necessary to contact the Electronic Service Centers, to order a radio or instrument cluster, if it is on a parts restriction. This process will include questions concerning the diagnosis of the radio or instrument cluster by the technician when calling the Electronic Service Centers for an exchange. A copy of the questions can be found on the Web site of your local Electronic Service Centers. So please be prepared with this information when calling. The Electronic Service Centers will be collecting the engineering data we need.

It may be necessary at times to go through the Product Quality Center (PQC) for some programs. When it is necessary to contact the PQC a DealerWorld Administrative Message will be sent advising of this.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
