Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 876404  Size: SH
  1. Remove the height adjuster knob for the seat belt webbing:
  2. 1.1. Insert a small awl into the hole underneath the knob and push.
    1.2. Lift up on the bottom of the knob. Unsnap the top of the knob from the seat belt height adjuster.

  3. Remove the bolt from the adjustable guide loop on the front seat belt.
  4. Pull the lower end of the center trim inboard to disengage the lower clip.
  5. Remove the center pillar trim from the upper trim clip by sliding the trim up.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 888379  Size: SH
  1. Install the center pillar trim to the upper trim clip by sliding the trim down. Ensure that the trim is properly seated in the upper clip.
  2. Push the lower trim clip to install the clip.

  3. Object Number: 876404  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bolt to the adjustable guide loop on the front seat belt.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

  6. Install the height adjuster knob.
  7. 4.1. Snap the top end of the knob onto the seat belt height adjuster.
    4.2. Push on the bottom of the knob until the knob snaps into place.
  8. Inspect the seat belt for proper operation.
