Condition

Some customers may comment on an engine oil leak. Upon further investigation, the leak appears to be coming from behind the starter motor.

Cause

This condition may be due to the oil pressure switch leaking.

Correction

Inspect the oil pressure switch to determine if it is leaking. If so, clean the area and replace the oil pressure switch using the one listed in the Parts Catalog.
