Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 896442 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Removal.
  2. Remove the water deflector away from the handle area.

    3. Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  3. Remove the retaining screw on the door handle.
  4. Slide the door handle forward and then outward.
  5. Twist the door handle to unhook the door handle rod.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893720 Size: SH
  1. Twist the door handle to hook the door handle rod into the handle.
  2. Install the door handle into slots and slide forward.
  3. Install the retaining screw on the door handle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door handle retaining screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).


    Object Number: 897170 Size: SH
  4. Replace the water deflector if damaged.
  5. Install the water deflector.
  6. Install the trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear.
