Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Pull back the front door water deflector enough to access the lock rod. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 893673 Size: SH
  3. Detach the lock rod from the latch assembly by pulling outward.
  4. Remove the lock rod by pulling up through the access hole.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893673 Size: SH
  1. Place the lock rod through the access hole.
  2. Attach the lock rod to the clip and engage by pushing toward the outer door panel.
  3. Inspect the operation of the lock rod.
  4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
