PURPOSE
The purpose of this bulletin is to:
Provide a new "Driver's Side Floor Mat Retainer " procedure and to update all 2000 and 2001 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manuals and update as detailed:
| • | In the 2000 -- L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manual, insert a copy of page 2 of this bulletin between service manual pages 1012 and 1013. |
| • | In the 2001 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manual, insert a copy of page 2 of this bulletin between service manual pages 1034 and 1035. |
Provide new labor code C4219 in order to receive credit for this repair during the warranty period.
Service Manual update page to be inserted in the 2000 and 2001 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manuals. Refer to Technical Information Bulletin 00-T-69. December 2000
DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR MAT RETAINER
- Remove the driver's side floor mat.
- Remove floor mat retainer using screwdriver inserted into top slot retainer.
- Screw in new retainer and snap floor mat into place.
