Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide updated HVAC tightening specifications
that have been revised for the following bolts:
| • | Suction Pipe-to-Compressor Bolt |
| • | Discharge Line-to-Compressor Bolt |
The tightening specification for both bolts listed above has been changed fro
40 N·m (30 lb ft) to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).
All the 2000 L-Series HVAC Service Manuals at your location need to be updated
to reflect the revised tightening specifications.
