J 43914 Universal Clamp Pliers

Important: Do not remove the rubber grommet from booster.

1. Remove the check valve hose assembly from the booster.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the rear of the plenum, (L81), and remove the vacuum hose assembly from the vehicle.
3. Using the J 43914 or equivalent, remove hose the clamp from the check valve, (L61), and remove the vacuum hose assembly from the vehicle.

1. Connect the vacuum hose at the rear of the plenum, (L81).
2. Install the vacuum check valve line assembly onto the throttle body hose, (L61).
3. Using the J 43914 or equivalent, install the hose clamp onto the check valve, (L61).



4. Ensure that the rubber grommet is positioned correctly in the booster.
5. Install the check valve with hose into the booster.
