Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 893454 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Gently remove the hood-to-cowl seal by peeling it up from one end.
  3. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to open the filter access door in the cowl leaf screen.
  4. Remove any debris in the filter area such as leaves or pine needles.

    5. Object Number: 878147 Size: SH
  5. Rotate the locking tabs outward to release the filter assembly.
  6. Remove the filter by pulling straight out.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 878147 Size: SH
  1. Install a new filter noting the air flow direction indicator.
  2. Rotate the locking tabs inward to secure the air filter in place.

    3. Object Number: 893454 Size: SH
  3. Install the hood-to-cowl seal.
  4. Close the cowl leaf screen access door and snap the door closed.
