Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 897855 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear wiper arm . Refer to .
  2. Open the lift gate.
  3. Remove lift gate trim panel. Refer to in Interior Trim.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear wiper motor.
  5. While supporting the rear wiper motor, remove the bolts.
  6. Remove the wiper motor from the lift gate.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the rear wiper motor to the lift gate.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. While supporting the rear wiper motor, install the bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the rear wiper motor.
  4. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to in Interior Trim.
  5. Close the lift gate.
  6. Inspect the wiper/washer system for proper operation.
