Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 896925 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disable/Enable Procedure.
  2. Position the steering column to its lowest position.
  3. Remove the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to I/P Cluster Trim Plate.

    4. Object Number: 891893 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper and lower cluster fasteners and pull rearward to remove the I/P cluster.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the I/P cluster into the I/P housing ensuring that the cluster harness is connected. Install and tighten the fasteners.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the I/P cluster trim plate-to-I/P housing fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  2. Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to I/P Cluster Trim Plate.
  3. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disable/Enable Procedure.
