The lighter is inoperative, but the bulb is good.

Check the 20A mini fuse (UHFB). If the fuse is bad, replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, check ground circuit 350, either at the I/P console inline or at the console grounding stud. If the ground is good, check for power on circuit 2240. If the power is present, the lighter element is faulty. If there is no power, the circuit is open.

The lighter works, but the bulb does not work.

Check the bulb. If the bulb is good, check circuit 8. If the circuit is good, check the ground circuit 350.

The lighter is slow to heat.

Check ground 350. If the ground is good, check for power on circuit 2240. If there is no power, the circuit is open.

The lighter and dimmer are inoperative.

Check ground 350.

The power outlet is inoperative.

Check the 20A mini fuse (UHFB). If the fuse is bad, replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, check ground circuit 550 at the console grounding stud. If the ground is good, check for power on circuit 1740. If there is no power, the circuit is open.
