Cruise Control Switch Replacement Clutch Switch - L61

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the left side lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) push pin fasteners and remove the panel.
3. Remove the left side lower heater duct assembly push pin fastener and remove the duct.



4. Disconnect the cruise clutch switch harness connector.

Important: The collar should NOT be entirely removed.

5. Remove the cruise clutch switch by pulling the red collar, located between the switch housing and the plunger, toward the front of the vehicle. The collar must be out past the locking tabs or the switch will not release from the bracket.
6. Depress the locking tabs on each side of the cruise clutch switch and remove the switch.

1. Slide out the red locking collar as far out as possible and install the cruise clutch switch into the bracket. Slide the red locking collar into the locking position.
2. Connect the cruise clutch switch harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
3. Install the left side lower heater duct and push pin fastener.
4. Install the left side lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) and push pin fasteners.

Cruise Control Switch Replacement On/Off and Set/Resume - L61

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry the switch assembly from the steering wheel.
3. Disconnect the cruise switch harness connector.

1. Connect the switch harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
2. Insert the cruise switch assembly in the steering wheel and gently apply pressure to fasten the switch in the opening.

Cruise Control Switch Replacement On/Off and Set/Resume - L81

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry the switch assembly from the steering wheel.
3. Disconnect the cruise switch harness connector.

1. Connect the switch harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
2. Insert the cruise switch assembly in the steering wheel and gently apply pressure to fasten the switch in the opening.
