For 1990-2009 cars only
- Loosen the hinge to body bolts to adjust the hood fore and aft, and cross-vehicle. Position the hood as needed.
- Loosen the hinge to hood bolts to adjust the hood up and down at the rear of the hood. Position as needed.
- Adjust the hood latch and hood bumpers to adjust the hood up and down at the front of the hood.
- Tighten the hinge and latch bolts.

Tighten
| • | Tighten the hinge-to-hood bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in). |
| • | Tighten the hinge-to-body bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in). |
| • | Tighten the hood latch nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in). |
