Service Information on Proper Position of Up Level (L300) and Mid Level (L200) Dome Lamp Assemblies

The purpose of this bulletin is to notify you of the correct position of up-level (L300) and mid-level (L200) dome lamp assemblies.

2001 up-level (L300) vehicles can come from the manufacturer with a rearview mirror/map lamp option. With this option, the dome lamp assembly is rotated 180 degrees. This places the dome lamp toward the front of the vehicle and the map lamps facing rearward. With the rearview mirror/map lamp option there is no need to rotate the dome lamp assembly. Refer to the following illustrations for the correct position.

2001 Only Up-Level Models

On Up-Level Models (L300) with the rearview mirror/lamp option, the dome lamp faces forward and map lamps face rearward.

2001 Mid-Level Models

On Mid-Level Models (L200) without rearview mirror/map lamp option, the dome lamp faces rearward and the map lamps face forward.
