Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement L61

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 893926  Size: SH
  1. Remove the battery.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Engine Coolant Check and Replacement .
  3. Remove the lower radiator hose to the engine block clamp.

  4. Object Number: 893750  Size: SH
  5. Remove the return hose to the surge bottle clamp.

  6. Object Number: 893929  Size: SH
  7. Remove the lower radiator hose to radiator outlet clamp.
  8. Remove the lower radiator hose from the engine bracket clamp and remove.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 893929  Size: SH

    Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

  1. Position the lower radiator hose into the engine bracket clamp.

  2. Object Number: 893926  Size: SH
  3. Install the lower radiator hose to the engine block fitting.

  4. Object Number: 893750  Size: SH
  5. Install the return hose to the surge tank.
  6. Install the lower radiator hose to the engine block fitting clamp at the 1 o'clock position.
  7. Install the return hose to the surge tank clamp at the 2 o'clock position.

  8. Object Number: 893929  Size: SH

    Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

  9. Install the lower radiator hose to radiator outlet.
  10. Install the lower radiator hose to radiator outlet clamp at the 12 o'clock position.
  11. Close the lower radiator hose into the engine bracket clamp.
  12. Install the battery.
  13. Connect the negative battery cable.
  14. Tighten
    Tighten the battery terminal bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  15. Fill the coolant. Refer to Engine Coolant Check and Replacement .

Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement L81

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 894211  Size: SH
  1. Remove the battery.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Engine Coolant Check and Replacement .
  3. Remove the lower radiator hose to the engine block clamp.

  4. Object Number: 893761  Size: SH
  5. Remove the upper transaxle cooler line from the radiator end tank.

  6. Object Number: 894217  Size: SH
  7. Remove the lower radiator hose to radiator outlet clamp and remove the hose.
  8. Remove the lower radiator hose from the wiring harness clamp.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 894211  Size: SH

    Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

  1. Install the lower radiator hose to the engine block fitting and position the clamp at the 1 o'clock position.

  2. Object Number: 894217  Size: SH

    Important: The white line on the hose should be installed at the 12 o'clock position.

  3. Install the lower radiator hose to the radiator outlet and position the clamp at the 11 o'clock position.

  4. Object Number: 894586  Size: SH
  5. Install the lower radiator hose into the wiring harness clamp.
  6. Install the outlet hose to the radiator and position the clamp at the 12 o'clock position.

  7. Object Number: 893761  Size: SH
  8. Install the upper transaxle cooler line to the radiator end tank.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the upper transaxle cooler line to radiator end tank to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).


    Object Number: 886658  Size: SH
  10. Install the battery.
  11. Install the battery hold down/fan control module bracket.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the battery hold down bracket to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 886619  Size: SH

    Important: Battery life is reduced if a battery insulation cover is not used.

  13. Install the battery insulating cover.

  14. Object Number: 886658  Size: SH
  15. Install the fan control module by sliding down onto the bracket.

  16. Object Number: 878122  Size: SH
  17. Connect the positive battery cable.
  18. Tighten
    Tighten the battery terminal bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  19. Connect the negative battery cable.
  20. Tighten
    Tighten the battery terminal bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  21. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Engine Coolant Check and Replacement .
  22. Use fresh water to rinse away any coolant that was spilled during the service.
