Powertrain Mount Balance - Lower Mount W/Automatic Transaxle

Important: Follow the balance procedure in the order listed in the following steps. Powertrain mounts must be tightened in sequence.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 891595  Size: SH
  3. Loosen the front transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.

  4. Object Number: 892920  Size: SH
  5. Loosen the rear transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.
  6. Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow powertrain to settle.
  7. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  8. Tighten the rear transmission mount through bolt.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).

  10. Tighten the front transmission mount through bolt.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  12. Lower the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 891625  Size: SH
  3. Loosen the front transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.

  4. Object Number: 891629  Size: SH
  5. Loosen the rear transmission mount through bolt. Do not remove.
  6. Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow powertrain to settle.
  7. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  8. Tighten the rear transmission mount through bolt.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).


    Object Number: 891625  Size: SH
  10. Tighten the front transmission mount through bolt.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  12. Lower the vehicle.
