Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 888497 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the left side lower IP closeout panel (hush panel) attachment fasteners.
  3. Remove the left side lower IP closeout panel.
  4. Remove the left side lower heater duct assembly attachment fastener.
  5. Remove the left side lower heater duct assembly.

    6. Object Number: 888491 Size: SH
  6. Remove the wheel speed signal conditioner module located under the left side of the IP above the hood release. The module is an orange colored component, which is similar to, but slightly larger than, a relay. The module should be removed like a relay.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 888491 Size: SH
  1. Install the wheel speed signal conditioner module to the IP harness.
  2. Tape or wire tie the wheel speed signal conditioner module and its harness to the IP harness so it does not hang down, if the original tape was removed.
  3. Install the left side lower heater duct and the attachment fastener.
  4. Install the left side lower IP closeout panel and the attachment fasteners.
