Removal Procedure
- Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
Important: Make sure the vehicle is centered and properly positioned prior to lifting.
- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the right side front splash shield pushpins and screws and remove
the splash shield.
- Disconnect the engine oil pressure (EOP) switch
harness connector.
- Unthread the engine oil pressure (EOP) switch and remove.
Installation Procedure
- Install the O-ring over the EOP switch and install the EOP switch.
Tighten
Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Connect the EOP switch harness connector. Push
the connector in until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement.
- Install the splash shield and the splash shield pushpins and screws.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Check the oil level and fill if low.
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
