Tools Required

    • KM-900 Rear Toe Adjusting Tool
    • SA9140E Torque Angle Gage

    Object Number: 891535 Size: SH

    Important:  Use new bolts and cage nuts. Torque retention of old bolts and nuts may not be sufficient.

  1. Remove the rear axle control arm bolts and cage nuts and discard them.

    2. Important: Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

  2. Install new bolts leaving the inside forward bolt out.

    3. Object Number: 892757 Size: SH
  3. Install the KM-900 into the open bolt hole.

    4. Object Number: 891536 Size: SH
  4. Using the KM-900 , move the rear axle control arm in the direction of the necessary toe correction.

    5. Important: Do not tighten to final torque at this time.

  5. Snug the rear axle control arm bolts.
  6. Recheck the toe and adjust if necessary.

    7. Object Number: 891535 Size: SH
  7. Using the SA9140E , tighten the rear axle control arm bolts using the torque angle method.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear axle control arm bracket-to-body bolts to 90 N·m (66 lb ft) + 30-45 degrees.

  8. Repeat the procedure for the other rear wheel.
