Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 893239  Size: SH

    Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

  1. Place a drain pan or suitable container under the vehicle.
  2. Position the vehicle on a hoist.
  3. Use a line wrench to remove the upper transaxle cooler line from the radiator.

  4. Object Number: 893242  Size: SH
  5. Raise the vehicle.
  6. Use a line wrench to remove the lower transaxle cooler line from the radiator.

  7. Object Number: 893244  Size: SH
  8. Remove the transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut from the transaxle.
  9. Remove the transaxle oil cooler line assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 893244  Size: SH
  1. Install the transaxle oil cooler line assembly to the transaxle.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  5. Use a line wrench to install the lower transaxle cooler line to the radiator.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the transaxle cooler line fittings to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Object Number: 893239  Size: SH
  9. Use a line wrench to install the upper transaxle cooler line to the radiator.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the transaxle cooler line fittings to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  11. Start the engine and check for leaks.
  12. Check for proper fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking Procedure.
