Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 870643 Size: SH
  1. Remove the upper steering column trim cover and lower the steering column cover fasteners.

    2. Object Number: 862575 Size: SH
  2. Remove the ignition switch bezel and remove the lower cover.

    3. Object Number: 891587 Size: SH
  3. Remove the park lock solenoid electrical connector.
  4. Remove the park lock solenoid screws and remove the park lock solenoid from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 891587 Size: SH
  1. Position the park lock solenoid onto the column and install the screws.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the park lock solenoid screws to 1.5 Nm (14 lb in).

  2. Connect the park lock solenoid electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 862575 Size: SH
  3. Install the lower steering column trim cover and the ignition switch bezel.

    4. Object Number: 870643 Size: SH
  4. Install the lower steering column trim cover fasteners.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the steering column trim cover attaching fasteners to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

  5. Install the upper steering column trim cover.
