    Important: When performing the front wheel toe adjustment, ensure that the steering wheel is locked in the straight-ahead position.

  1. Position and lock the steering in the straight ahead position.
  2. Loosen the left side and right side inner tie rod-to-outer tie rod jam nuts.
  3. Notice: Make sure seals on steering gear assembly do not rotate and become twisted. If these seals rotate and become twisted, seal damage may result.

  4. Use a wrench on the inner tie rod flats to turn the inner tie rods in the direction of desired change.
  5. After the toe adjustment is complete, tighten the left side and right side inner tie rod-to-outer tie rod jam nuts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the inner tie rod-to-outer tie rod jam nuts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft)

  7. Inspect the toe angles to ensure proper adjustment and re-adjust if necessary.
