Removal Procedure
- Remove the control head. Refer to CELL LINK 63235 HVAC Control Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the R/H console closeout panel.
- Remove the cable from the module retaining clip using the first 2 fingers to pull outward on the cable while using the thumb to spread the retaining clip.
- Remove the cable from the temperature door lever by squeezing the end of the pin and pulling the cable eyelet outward.
Caution: Heater core pipes may be hot!
Installation Procedure
- Route the new cable in through the control head opening in the I/P. The cable housing flag goes to the control head end.
- Guide the cable around outside of the I/P support brace.
- Install the cable eyelet onto the temperature door lever pin.
- Install the control head. Refer to CELL LINK 63235 HVAC Control Assembly Replacement .
Important: Do not install the cable housing into the retaining clip at this time.
