Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 893362  Size: SH
  1. Remove the radio bezel trim plate.

  2. Object Number: 893365  Size: SH
  3. Remove then radio-to-I/P screws.

  4. Object Number: 893367  Size: SH
  5. Remove the radio electrical and antenna connectors and remove the radio.

  6. Object Number: 893371  Size: SH
  7. Remove the control head-to-I/P screws.

  8. Object Number: 893931  Size: SH
  9. Rotate the front of the control head upward and toward the front of vehicle to gain access to the bottom of the control head.
  10. Remove the electrical connectors from the control head.

  11. Object Number: 893465  Size: SH
  12. Rotate the temperature knob to the full hot position.
  13. Rotate the control head downward and release the temperature cable flag by pushing the tab forward and pushing down on the cable at the same time.
  14. Remove the temperature cable eyelet from the drive pin by squeezing the drive pin together.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 893465  Size: SH
  1. Rotate the temperature knob to the full hot position.
  2. Install the cable eyelet onto the control head pin and install the cable housing flag into the slot in the control head until it engages the locking tab.

  3. Object Number: 893931  Size: SH
  4. Install the electrical connectors to the control head.

  5. Object Number: 893371  Size: SH
  6. Install the control head to I/P screws.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the control head-to-I/P screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).


    Object Number: 893367  Size: SH
  8. Install the radio electrical and antenna connectors.

  9. Object Number: 893365  Size: SH
  10. Install the radio to I/P screws.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the I/P screws to radio to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).


    Object Number: 893362  Size: SH
  12. Install the radio trim bezel.
