Blower Motor Noise/Vibration

Debris in blower

Remove debris.

Damaged blower motor bearing

Replace blower motor assembly.

Blower motor not properly installed

Install blower motor assembly properly into retaining groove.

Odor From Air Outlets

Module condensate drain plugged

Remove condensate drain and remove restriction.

Debris in evaporator case

Remove blower motor assembly and remove debris.

Debris trapped in cabin air filter

Replace cabin air filter.

Temperature Knob - Difficult to Turn/Binds

Pinched temperature cable

Verify proper routing of cable.

Cable improperly installed to control head

Verify proper installation.

Cable kinked during installation

Replace cable.

Cable improperly installed into module adjustment clip

Remove and re-install cable to adjustment clip

Debris in control head gears

Remove debris from gears.

Temperature/Mode Knobs Limited Rotation

Knob installed improperly

Remove, rotate 180 degrees and re-install

Recirculation Light Lit - System in Outside Air

System defaults to outside air when defrost or heater/defrost is selected.

Position mode knob to mode other than defrost or heater/defrost.

A/C Compressor ON - A/C Not Selected

System defaults to A/C ON when defrost or heater/defrost is selected.

Position mode knob to mode other than defrost or heater/defrost.

A/C Compressor Cycling at Low Ambient

Low ambient evaporator freeze protection software

Normal operation - see ELAP parameters in electronic compressor control section.

Reduced or Low Airflow from Outlets

Cabin air filter is dirty.

Replace cabin air filter.
