Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 886921 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid hinge springs marking the location with a wax pencil.
  3. Remove the rear window shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

    4. Object Number: 929248 Size: SH
  4. Remove the hinge to body bolt.

    5. Object Number: 894237 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the left hinge.

    6. Object Number: 929250 Size: SH
  6. Remove the hinge from the rear window shelf panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 929248 Size: SH
  1. Position the hinge to the rear window shelf panel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolt to the hinge at the rear shelf panel.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear compartment lid hinge springs.
  4. Install the rear compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 894237 Size: SH
  5. Connect the wiring harness to the left hinge.
  6. Install the rear window shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
