Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
- Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement .
- Remove hinge pillar molding. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the left and the right carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
- Remove the carpet retaining fastener from the driver side.
- Observe the carpet cut under the right side of the HVAC module. Continue to cut the carpet enough to remove the carpet from the HVAC module.
- Remove the carpet from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Cut the replacement carpet in the same location as the removed carpet.
- Install the front carpet in the vehicle tucking the carpet under the HVAC module and under the shift rod. Make sure that the carpet is properly placed to prevent wrinkles.
- Install the driver side carpet retaining fastener.
- Install the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
- Install the hinge pillar. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
- Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement .
- Install the seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
