Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 896625 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

    2. Object Number: 896658 Size: SH
  2. Remove the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 896861 Size: SH
  3. Remove front seat bolts.

    4. Object Number: 896493 Size: SH
  4. Remove the center console extensions by pulling gently at the fastener location.

    5. Object Number: 896495 Size: SH
  5. Remove the center console fasteners.
  6. Tilt front seats and console upward to allow carpet to be removed from under seat and console.
  7. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 896598 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear carpet in the vehicle making sure that the carpet is properly fit under the front seat and console.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the front seat bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb in).

  3. Install the console fasteners.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the console extensions.

  5. Install the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .

  6. Install the rear seat cushion.
