Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 896700 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 896786 Size: SH
  2. Remove the seat back cover/pad.
  3. Remove the pivot bracket from the seat back.

    4. Object Number: 896772 Size: SH
  4. Remove the lock mechanism from the seat back panel.

    5. Object Number: 896791 Size: SH
  5. Drill out the seat back latch rivets and remove the latch assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 896791 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat back latch assembly with the rivets.

    2. Object Number: 896772 Size: SH
  2. Snap the lock mechanism into the seat back panel.

    3. Object Number: 896786 Size: SH
  3. Install the seat back cover.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the seat back pivot bracket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bracket to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
