Fuses

PWR SEATS Fuse

Location : Right instrument panel fuse block

Type : 20A Minifuse

Feeds : Circuit 640

If the power seat system is operating normally, the fuse is most likely good.

If the fuse is blown, determine the cause of the blown fuse and complete the repair.

Replace the fuse as needed.

HTD SEATS Fuse

Location : Right instrument panel fuse block

Type : 20A Minifuse

Feeds : Circuit 141

There are two systems that utilize this fuse. If one of the following systems is operating normally, the fuse is most likely good:

    • The driver heated seat
    • The passenger heated seat

If the fuse is blown, determine the cause of the blown fuse and complete the repair.

Replace the fuse as needed.

IGN 3 Fuse

Location : Left instrument panel fuse block

Type : 10A Minifuse

Feeds : Circuit 641

If one of the following systems is operating normally, the fuse is most likely good:

    • The heated seat -- driver or passenger-switch -- light emitting diode (LED)
    • The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
    • The fog lamp switch LED
    • The traction switch LED
    • The antilock brake system (ABS) module
    • The rear defog
    • The vehicles speed-signal conditioner module

If the fuse is blown, determine the cause of the blown fuse and complete the repair.

Replace the fuse as needed.

Grounds

RIGHT BODY GROUND Splice Pack

Location: Under the console, near the park brake

The systems grounded by the right body splice pack are grounded redundantly with the body ground. If one of the following systems is operating normally, the ground circuit is most likely good:

    • The power seat -- driver only
    • The heated seats -- driver or passenger
    • The dome lamp
    • The center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL)
    • The reading lamps
    • The sunroof -- Sedan option only
    • The right heated mirror

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
