Removal Procedure
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
- Disconnect the drain hoses from the corners of the sunroof assembly.
- Remove the sunroof assembly from the vehicle by folding the rear of the seats down and removing through the rear compartment.
- Remove the sunroof module bolts.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sunroof assembly to the vehicle by folding the rear seat in the down position, opening the decklid, and feeding the sunroof through the rear compartment into the vehicle.
- Connect the drain hoses to the corners of the sunroof assembly.
- Install the sunroof module bolts.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Installation .
- Align the encapsulated glass to the roof, 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in) lower than the roof in the front and 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in) higher than the roof in the rear. If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the 4 bolts on the encapsulated glass and align with the roof to the specifications at the 4 locations indicated by the arrows.
- Verify a smooth operation.
- Verify the alignment of the glass panel to the roof.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the sunroof module-to-roof panel bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
