Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 892549 Size: SH
  1. Operate the sunroof to the ¼ open position.
  2. Remove the 4 screws from the "U" cover.
  3. Close the sunroof
  4. Remove the "U" cover by unsnapping the sides and lower the cover down into the passenger compartment.

    5. Object Number: 897817 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 bolts from the encapsulated glass.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 897817 Size: SH
  1. Install the encapsulated glass with the 4 bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the encapsulated glass-to-sunroof module fasteners to 4 N·m (35 lb in).


    Object Number: 897810 Size: SH
  2. Align the encapsulated glass to the roof in the 4 locations indicated by the arrows, 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in) lower than the roof in the front and 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in) higher than the roof in the rear.

    3. Object Number: 892549 Size: SH
  3. Install the "U" cover by snapping the sides to the sunroof assembly.
  4. Operate the sunroof to the ¼ open position.
  5. Install the 4 screws to the "U" cover.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the sunroof module "U" cover retaining screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  6. Verify a smooth operation.
  7. Verify the alignment to the roof.
