Front Door Striker

    Object Number: 892569 Size: SH
  1. Using a grease pencil, mark around the striker for installation purposes.
  2. Remove the bolts.
  3. Remove the striker and striker shim if present.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 892569 Size: SH
  1. Loosely install the striker and striker shim, if present, with the bolts.
  2. Align the striker with the marks made prior to removal.
  3. Hand tighten the bolts.
  4. Inspect the door closing. Align the striker as required.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Tighten the striker bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the door striker bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
