Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 867709 Size: SH
  1. Remove the compartment door cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement .
  2. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and rotate the cylinder clockwise 90 degrees. The cylinder will stop and the retainer tumbler, first tumbler, will be visible.
  3. Depress the retainer tumbler with a thin bladed screwdriver.

  4. Rotate the lock cylinder an additional 90 degrees and remove the lock cylinder.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 867714 Size: SH
  1. Insert the key into the lock cylinder.
  2. Place the key and the lock cylinder into the door handle.
  3. Rotate the lock cylinder counterclockwise 180 degrees to engage the retainer tumbler.
  4. Install the compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement .
