Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Sedan
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear shelf panel. Refer to
Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the subwoofer fasteners and pull the subwoofer away from the rear
shelf.
- Disconnect the subwoofer electrical connector from the subwoofer.
- Remove the subwoofer from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the subwoofer electrical connector to the subwoofer.
- Install the subwoofer.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Position the subwoofer in the rear shelf and install the fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
- Install the rear shelf panel assembly. Refer to
Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement

Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Wagon
Removal Procedure
- Remove the subwoofer grill cover.
- Remove the subwoofer fasteners and remove the subwoofer from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connector to the subwoofer.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Important: Install the fasteners at the base of the subwoofer first, to secure the subwoofer
in place.
- Position the subwoofer to the side of the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
- Attach
the subwoofer grill cover to the subwoofer.
