Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose Replacement Front

1. Open the hood.
2. Pull back the drivers side wheelhouse liner to access the washer pump. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
3. Disconnect the front washer hose at the washer pump and plug outlet port.
4. Remove the lower close out panel. Refer to in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console
5. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the new hose onto the old hose at the windshield pillar by forcing each end of the hose over a 6 mm (1/4 in) stud or equivalent.

Apply tape to the joint where the 2 hoses meet.

1. Pull on the old hose under the hood to route the new hose in place.
2. Connect the new hose to the pump and windshield pillar.
3. Install the windshield pillar trim. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Inspect the wiper/washer system for proper operation.

Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose Replacement Center

1. Inspect the headliner for damp, stained or wet areas along the drivers side of the headliner.
2. If a damp, stained, wet or suspected area is found, remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Locate the damaged or blocked section of hose using a low pressure air supply (5 psi or less). Blow through the hose to locate the leakage or blockage.

1. If replacement is necessary, use tie straps to secure the new hose section to the old hose.
2. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Inspect the wiper/washer system for proper operation.

Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose Replacement Rear

1. Open the lift gate.
2. Disconnect the grommet from the body on the passenger side of the lift gate.
3. Disconnect the washer hose at the lift gate.
4. Install new hose onto the old hose by forcing each end of the hose over a 6 mm (1/4 in) stud or equivalent.

Apply tape to the joint where the 2 hoses meet.

5. Remove the rear access plug from the center upper area of the lift gate.



6. Remove the nozzle from the lift gate. Refer to Rear Window Washer Nozzle Replacement .
7. Pull the hose across the rear of the lift gate to route the new hose.

1. Remove the tape from the old and new hose and remove the stud.
2. Install the washer nozzle.



3. Connect the rear washer hose to the center washer hose at the lift gate.
4. Install the grommet by pushing the grommet all the way into the body opening and gently pulling outward.
5. Inspect the wiper/washer system for proper operation.
6. Install the access plug in the lift gate.
