For 1990-2009 cars only
- Turn the ignition key to the RUN position. Do not start the engine.
- Remove the underhood fuse block cover.
- Press the red oil reset button and hold for 5 seconds.
- Turn the ignition key to OFF.
- Check the system reset.
- Repeat the procedure it the CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp does not turn OFF.
Important: The system must be reset after changing the oil.
Important: The system is reset when the CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp is flashing. The CHANGE OIL SOON telltale lamp will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned OFF.
