Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2002 🢒 L100/L200/LW200 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.2L (L61) 🢒 Lower Crankcase Removal

    Object Number: 412435 Size: SH
  1. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
  2. Inspect the crankshaft position sensor for damage and replace, if necessary.
  3. Remove the bedplate perimeter bolts.

    4. Important: Do not forget the 2 outside rear bolts.

  4. Remove and discard the crankshaft bearing bolts.
  5. Using the pry-points and an appropriate prying tool, gently separate the upper and lower crankcase.

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
  2. Inspect the position sensor for damage. Replace if necessary.
  3. Remove the bedplate perimeter bolts.
  4. Remove the crankshaft bearing bolts and discard.
  5. Using the pry-points and an appropriate prying tool, gently separate the upper and lower crankcase.
