Heavy snow or Ice can overload your wipers. Clear away snow or ice to prevent an overload. If your windshield wipers are stalled for a few seconds, an electronic circuit breaker wills top the wiper motor until it cools to protect if from damage. To reset the circuit breaker, move the wiper control switch back to "OFF" and then move the switch to the desired position. If the overload is caused by some electrical problem, have it fixed.
