Your vehicle has top strap anchors installed for the rear seating positions only.
Do not secure a child restraint with a top strap in the right front passenger's position if a national or local law requires that the top strap be anchored, or if the instructions that come with the child restraint say that the top strap must be anchored. There is no place to anchor the top strap in this position.
The anchors are located behind the rear seat on the filler panel. In order to get to one of these brackets, you will have to open the trim cover. The trim cover is marked with the symbol for child seat top tether anchor.
Anchor brackets are located on the floor in the cargo area.
Caution: Routing the top strap for a child restraint over or under the cargo shade could cause the shade to come loose and even break. If this happens, the shade could be thrown about the vehicle in a collision or sudden maneuver. You or others could be injured. When anchoring a top strap to an anchor bracket, be sure to remove the cargo shade from your vehicle. See "Cargo Shade" in the Index.
