SMU for 2000/2001 and 2002 L Series Chassis Service Manuals Regarding Front Strut Assembly

Please obtain all 2000/2001 and 2002 L-Series Chassis Service Manuals at your location and make the necessary updates as indicated below.

1. Make photocopies of page 2 of this bulletin.
2. In the 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service Manual insert a copy of page 2 between pages 192 and 193.
3. In the 2002 L-Series Chassis Service Manual insert a copy of page 2 between pages 200 and 201.

Service Manual update page to be inserted into 2000/2001 and 2002 L-Series Chassis Service Manuals. Refer to Technical Information Bulletin 02-T-??, January 2002.

5.1 Install the upper spring seat so that the ears point toward vehicle's front on the left side, and toward the vehicle's rear on the right side.
